INITIAL RESEARCH

This is a short introduction to my further plans for my music video project.


 


I have been looking at the video linked below,I think that effects they have used and also the costumes they wearing is perfect to the song lyrics and general look.I really like their camera angles and different shots ,because it looks professional.

This is one of the research I have did on two different music posters.I have looked at variety different things -colours,pictures and the text is added there.





This presentation was a research about two different video clips of famous singers songs where I have looked at different camera angles,shots,environment,clothing and other Mise-en-scene aspects.




Here is focus group questions that I have been asking my classmates to talk about:

1. Can you tell us what your favourite music genre is?
2. Do you prefer videos in black and white or in colours? Why?
3. Do you like music videos that have humour? Sadness? Fantasy? Or anger? And why?
4. How do you think does multiple locations videos looks more interesting then single location videos? Why?
5. Do you prefer music videos that go with the lyrics or abstract ones? Why? What do you like to see in music videos? Dancing, random clips, Story etc.
6. Do you have any music videos that look attractive to you so we could look at them?
7. Do more people acting in music video makes video look more interesting and attractive or you don’t mind if the video is interesting?

 I have found a lot of useful information in our focus group. We have discussed all the questions above and I find it really helpful.
