THE BRIEF

I have chosen to produce a music video which is option 1.I have picked this option because I always have a dream about creating a music video. I have looked at many videos, official videos that are released by a famous singer’s etc. and I think that I could do that, because I love music and I think I am creative enough to create a good piece of work. The other reason why I have chosen this option is ,because me and my sister have did film trailer in year 12 so I find it more interesting to do something new and more interesting rather doing the same thing again.

The target audience for our music video going to be 5-10 years old girls.

I have looked at many videos, official songs and even AS level student work from last year or earlier. I have compared them all and looked what effects were used, what song they have chosen, how they were acting, what clothing and make up was used etc. I saw some very good student girl’s works which were presented in a quite professional way, and I really like it because it had a meaning, I could see the message that was trying to be represented to the audience through the video, and all the effects, costumes were really well designed together. This research I think will be very helpful because I have got an idea of what level work was presented in a previews years and how much work need to put to make a good piece of work.

The genre of my product probably going to be POP because I enjoy songs that are released in pop chart and I think that this genre is most likely to be favourite to the most of the people .

We are going to do ancillary tasks separately and I would like to try something new from the previews  year works, because I find it interesting when I need to create , design, think by myself and overcome harder tasks and situations.
